Yes, that's right: Russia! Spring 2009
When I tell people about our plans to expand our family through international adoption, I get as many different questions as there are people to ask them. But many ask "what's going to happen to your business?"
Rest assured, I don't plan to stop doing what I do at Cold Brook Farm, but for the next few months my attentions will be elsewhere. I will attempt to fill and deliver orders as they come in, but I'm going to request patience and understanding as we will be traveling to Russia multiple times with little or no notice and while I don't want to shutter my business, I will be scaling back on home delivery and festival outings this spring and summer.
In the meantime, I urge my loyal clientele to visit some of the stores where my product line is stocked and ready for purchase. If there is something you need and don't find on the shelf, please to ask the store owner to request it. I've been careful to nurture good relationships with some of the best retail owners in the area and they will be more than happy to accommodate.
